As the wind blows, and the chimes sway
I become lighter than dust.
The fresh air fills my lungs
And the sun warms my feet.
I sigh and wish
If only life could be this easy.

Everybody wishes,
comes to mind once in a while.
To turn back time
and travel rewind.
To react some scenes
in this movie called life.
Take back the mistakes
make wrong into right.
Unravel words unspoken,
never give breath to regret.
Maybe then
one will find happiness.
in the future,
the present.
But to go back in time,
not only those we want,
we'll see.
For in the past still lies,
the darkness we fought.
And to go back
we'll relive
all the struggle,
the same chaos.
Not only our lives,
though it's what we intend.
To others we connect,
just like a web.
One thing that takes no effect,
choices come with consequence.

hoping to never let this moment

far away from each other,

Restless I lie on my bed tonight and pretend that it is grass,
The heavens shine above me, not mere plaster and lights of glass.
In my imaginings I see and believe as I shrug off the caress of sleep
That I lie in a verdant valley of green in a bower of flowers nestled deep
In the new spring grass, dewy, springy, barely feeling its touch.
The comfort might have lulled me to slumber, but then and there no such
